Cherry Hill
A family-friendly resort offering thrilling slides like Double Dragons, a lazy river and a children’s splash area called Pirates Cove. Beyond the water attractions, visitors can enjoy mini-golf, a jungle maze, a climbing wall and mini golf. (Park entrance fee required.)
Lagoon A Beach
A six-acre water park located inside Lagoon Amusement Park. It features over half a million gallons of water attractions, with slides ranging from thrilling drop slides to winding tube slides, an expansive lazy river. (Park entrance fee required.)
Clearfield Aquatic Center
An aquatic and fitness center that offers a fun indoor water park with a lazy river, slides, lap pool and splash pad. It also features a fitness center, walking track and basketball courts.
Farmington City Pool
A seasonal outdoor pool offering a 25-yard recreation pool features amenities such as a water slide, diving board and a zero-depth entry area for young children. The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day,
Layton Surf ‘n Swim
A year-round aquatic center featuring a 500,000-gallon wave pool with eight wave patterns, a 25-yard lap pool and a variety of fitness classes. The facility offers racquetball and wallyball courts, swim lessons and party rentals.
South Davis Rec
Features indoor and outdoor pools, a full-sized ice rink, racquetball courts, gymnasiums, a fitness center and a bouldering cave.

Waterfall Hikes
Adams Canyon Trail – Layton
A 3.8-mile round-trip hike leading to a 40-foot waterfall. The trail features steep switchbacks and shaded forest, making it a moderately challenging but rewarding hike.
Farmington Creek Trail – Farmington
Approximately 3 miles round-trip, this trail offers a 20-foot waterfall at the top, along with old abandoned cars along the path. It’s a moderate hike with some creek crossings.
Deuel Creek Trail – Centerville
A 2.9-mile loop trail that crosses the creek multiple times via bridges. The trail features a waterfall, waterslide, and rope swing, making it a fun and family-friendly hike.
Davis Creek Trail – Farmington
A relatively short hike with a waterfall at about the halfway point. The trail also offers an option to visit the Indian Bathtubs natural pools, adding variety to the hike.
Farmington Canyon Trail (Hornet Canyon) – Farmington
A 3-mile trail leading to ‘The Grotto,’ a waterfall in Hornet Canyon. The hike is moderately challenging and offers a unique experience with its waterfall and surrounding scenery.
Ponds & Bodies of Water
Bountiful Lake – A scenic spot for fishing, kayaking and wildlife watching, with a loop trail and year-round access.
Farmington Pond – A 3.5-acre community fishing pond managed by Farmington City. Boating and swimming are not allowed. The pond is accessible via the Lagoon Trail, a scenic path that connects to the Farmington Creek Trail, making it a popular spot for both fishing and leisurely walks.

Kaysville Ponds – A serene four-pond system nestled within the Utah State University Botanical Center. These ponds offer a peaceful retreat for fishing, kayaking and birdwatching. Anglers can expect to catch species such as rainbow trout, channel catfish, bluegill, and largemouth bass.
Steed Pond – A 2.5-acre community fishing spot just north of Steed Park. This tranquil pond is ideal for beginners and seasoned anglers. Fishing hours extend from 5 a.m. to midnight, with a daily limit of two fish; all bass caught should be released. Please note that swimming and boating are prohibited.
Antelope Island – Kayaking at Antelope Island State Park offers a unique opportunity to explore the waters of the Great Salt Lake. The lake’s high salinity (about 12%) provides excellent buoyancy, making it easy to float and enjoy the calm surroundings. Paddlers can enjoy views of the Wasatch Mountains, observe wildlife such as bison and pronghorn antelope.

Museums
Bountiful History Museum
The Bountiful History Museum offers a captivating glimpse into the heritage of Davis County. Operated by the Bountiful Historical Commission, the museum features exhibits that highlight pioneer life, local industries and the development of the community over time. Visitors can explore historical artifacts, photographs and personal stories that bring the past to life.
Heritage Museum of Layton
The Heritage Museum of Layton showcases the history of Layton City with exhibits featuring Native American artifacts and pioneer tools. Family-friendly and free to visit, the museum offers interactive displays and highlights the area’s cultural and agricultural past.
Hill Aerospace Museum of Hill Airforce Base
The Hill Aerospace Museum showcases over 90 military aircraft and aerospace artifacts. Highlights include the SR-71 Blackbird and F-117 Nighthawk. The museum offers free admission and guided tours.

The Whitaker: Centerville’s History Museum
This museum is a historic pioneer home showcasing Centerville’s early life through artifacts, photos and exhibits. Built in the 1860s, it offers guided tours and educational programs highlighting the town’s legacy.
Syracuse Museum
Come see the history of Syracuse through exhibits on pioneer life, agriculture and local industry. Housed in historic buildings, highlights include a handcart, vintage fire truck and a two-headed calf.
