To get the full water park experience, you’ll want to plan your trip between late May (Memorial Day weekend) and early September (Labor Day weekend). This is when the water attractions are fully operational and the Utah summer weather is at its peak.
Getting There & Around
- By Car: Davis County is easily accessible via I-15.
- By Transit: If you are staying in Salt Lake City, you can take the UTA FrontRunner train directly to the Farmington Station, which is right next to Lagoon.

- For the Campers: Book a campsite or a cabin directly at Cherry Hill in Kaysville. It allows you to stay right in the heart of the action. There is also an RV park at lagoon and other nearby locations.
- For Hotel Lovers: Look for accommodations around Station Park in Farmington or in neighboring Layton. You’ll be minutes away from the parks and surrounded by excellent dining options.

Day 1: Arrival & Night Splash at Cherry Hill
Welcome to Davis County! Start your trip by checking into your accommodations and gearing up for a unique water park experience.
Afternoon: Arrive and unpack. If you are staying at the Cherry Hill campground, get settled into your campsite.
Evening: Head straight into Cherry Hill Water Park. While they are open all day, there is something magical about a warm summer evening here.
- Dinner: Grab a bite at the The Pirate’s Grill inside the park, or head into downtown Kaysville for some local grub.
- Must-Do Ride: Grab a tube and brave the Kodiak Canyon River Adventure, a themed, tubing river that is a signature Cherry Hill experience.

Day 2: Thrills & Chills at Lagoon (Lagoon A Beach)

Morning: Hit the park right at opening. Use the cooler morning hours to ride the major roller coasters before the lines get too long.
Afternoon: When the midday heat hits, change into your swimwear and head to Lagoon A Beach. This six-acre water park is included with your park admission!

- For the Chillers: Grab a tube and drift along the crystal-clear lazy river that winds through tropical landscaping.
- Pro-Tip: You can rent lockers right at Lagoon A Beach to safely store your dry clothes, phones, and wallets while you swim.
Evening: Once you’ve cooled down and dried off, spend the rest of your night enjoying the live entertainment, Pioneer Village, and a classic dinner of park food (you can’t leave without a funnel cake!).
Day 3: Morning Souvenirs & Soak
