Pioneer Jubilee 2026

The Heritage Museum of Layton proudly presents Pioneer Jubilee 2026, a fun event for visitors of all ages featuring games, crafts, a chalk art festival, and tours of the Joseph Hill Pioneer cabin. Games will include washing handkerchiefs, the game of graces, hoop and stick, ring toss, and more. There will be an America250 related craft and a Pioneer themed craft. Tours of the 1851 Joseph Hill cabin will also be available free of charge. The event will also include a chalk art festival. Participants in the chalk art festival are required to register in advance so we know how many spots we need to prepare, but participation is free. For those who don’t want to formally participate in the chalk art festival, there will also be a designated area for additional art to be added by attendees. This event will be both indoors and outdoors, so please plan accordingly for the weather.
