Set on the streets of Dublin, Once tells the story of a struggling Irish musician (known simply as “Guy”) and a Czech immigrant (“Girl”) who meet through a shared love of music. Over the course of a week, their unexpected connection transforms their music—and their lives—forever. Featuring a multi-award-winning score of rich acoustic folk music, played live by the actors on stage, this achingly beautiful and joyously uplifting show speaks to the power of music to connect us all.
