Women4STEM Conference – for women (and girls in high school!)

As Utah’s technology sector continues to grow, we know we will never be able to fill all the current and future STEM positions without inspiring more young women to pursue a STEM career, retaining women already working in STEM, and providing a path for women without STEM credentials to enter the STEM workforce. In an effort to address these issues, Hill Air Force Base Women in Science & Engineering (WiSE) is excited to announce the first annual Women4STEM Conference. The goal of the conference is to showcase outstanding women in STEM working in government, industry, non-profit and education to inspire, support, mentor, and inform the following target groups – girls in 10th-12th grades, young women in college, women currently in STEM fields, and women wanting to enter the STEM workforce. The Women4STEM Conference will be held Saturday, 6 May, at the Weber State University Davis Campus, 2750 University Park Blvd, Layton, UT, from 9am to 3:15pm.
