As Utah’s technology sector continues to grow, we know we will never be able to fill all the current and future STEM positions without inspiring more young women to pursue a STEM career, retaining women already working in STEM, and providing a path for women without STEM credentials to enter the STEM workforce. In an effort to address these issues, Hill Air Force Base Women in Science & Engineering (WiSE) is excited to announce the first annual Women4STEM Conference. The goal of the conference is to showcase outstanding women in STEM working in government, industry, non-profit and education to inspire, support, mentor, and inform the following target groups – girls in 10th-12th grades, young women in college, women currently in STEM fields, and women wanting to enter the STEM workforce.
The Women4STEM Conference will be held Saturday, 6 May, at the Weber State University Davis Campus, 2750 University Park Blvd, Layton, UT, from 9am to 3:15pm.
