The Lion in Winter

June 16 @ 12:00 am - July 8 @ 12:00 am

It’s Christmas 1183 and King Henry II has invited all of his family back home, including his imprisoned wife, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, to announce who will be his successor to the throne.  When all of the intrigue, family secrets, and good wine start flowing, jockeying for the position reaches a fever pitch.  Queen Eleanor, Princes Richard, Geoffrey, John, and King Phillipe of France all have plots and schemes to mastermind if they want to win this political game of chess. Directed by Jansen Davis and performed by an outstanding cast of characters, The Lion in Winter is an ironic commentary on the futility of the family feud that is sure to entertain!
