Join us for a special evening featuring:
Speaker Norris Jernigan of the 509th Composite Group, the unit responsible for carrying out the world’s first and only Atomic Mission. Special tours around the B-29 Superfortress with Mr. Jernigan, museum staff, and specialists from Historic Wendover Airfield. Nose Art from the 509th Composite Group, who trained for the Atomic Mission out of Wendover, Utah.*Doors will open at 6:30 PM, speaker will begin at 7:00 PM. Light desserts and plane tours will follow.
