Jubilee Chalk Art Contest

Join the Heritage Museum for a Historic Layton Chalk Art Contest! Registration will be available on the city website beginning July 12! Date: Monday, July 24th, 2023 Check-In: 6:30-7:00am Drawing Time: 7am-Noon. Judging will begin at noon. Location: Heritage Museum of Layton, Cabin Plaza (403 N. Wasatch Drive) Entry Fee: $15 (Fee will be waived for participants under 12 years old) Awards: Announced at 12:30pm. Awards will be given to the first place winner in each category. Registration: July 12th through July 21st. Provided at Check-In: A basic set of sidewalk chalk and hand wipes. Artists are encourage to bring their own chalk to add vibrancy, depth and variety. Artists may also bring their own brushes, water, and any other materials or tools they need. All chalk must be water based and temporary (no paint, fixatives, or oil-based products).
