Set in the World War II era, Miriam Wilkins, a 16-year-old girl, secretly writes letters to a military man in order to do her part and raise morale for the troops. Recognizing that she’s too young to be taken seriously, Miriam signs the name of her beautiful but unwitting older sister Ruth. The plot thickens as the love-struck soldier returns home from the war to find that the object of his affection is already engaged. Chaos, comedy, and romance come together to create this timeless, delightful show.
