You’ve made it through another day of self-isolation and social distancing, so you deserve to treat yourself! One of Davis County’s favorite indulges is Twisted Sugar. Twisted Sugar is a drink and dessert shop that offers a menu of nearly every soda you can think of mixed with a variety of fun flavors. They are famous for their homemade sugar cookies like Lemon Raspberry, Salted Caramel, and their most popular, Twisted Sugar- a sugar cookie with coconut frosting and a fresh squeeze of lime.
Twisted Sugar has three Davis County locations in Centerville, Layton, and Syracuse. You can order and pick up your drink and treat in Layton and Centerville at their drive-thru. If you would like to visit the Syracuse location, please call to place your order and they will deliver it to your car.

Bountiful Greek Cafe is one of very few Greek restaurants in Davis County. If you need a break from pizza or burgers and fries, then Bountiful Greek Cafe is definitely where you want to go next. They offer fresh, healthy, and authentic Mediterranean food on historic Bountiful Main Street. Their most popular items include a lamb or chicken gyro plate served with salad or fries, a flame-broiled chicken or lamb souvlaki, and their greek burger marinated in chipotle sauce.
Currently, they are open for takeout orders Monday-Saturday from 11am-8pm. You can place your order over the phone at 801-683-8942. They are also available for home delivery through DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats.

SeaQuest is an interactive aquarium that offers experiences you won’t get anywhere else in the state. Their motto is, “If you can reach it, you can touch it” making for a unique petting zoo meets aquarium experience. They have all of your favorite aquatic animals like stingrays, octopus, and jellyfish, plus land mammals like birds, otters, a sloth, and an adorable kinkajou.

Currently, they are open Friday-Sunday, making a great weekend activity the whole family will love. If you’re eager to visit the animals during the week, SeaQuest has virtual field trips on their YouTube channel where you can learn about exotic animals and see them up close. They also have free printable coloring pages and activity sheets available on their Facebook page. Complete these and turn them in once you visit SeaQuest and you’ll get free feeding tokens!
