Davis Arts Council has created a fun initiative that allows you to use your creativity and also thank a Davis County healthcare worker. Davis Arts Council is partnering with hospitals in Davis County to share work from artists of all ages and abilities to bring messages of hope and gratitude to our community’s healthcare workers. Everyone and anyone is welcome to submit artwork that will be digitally displayed throughout local hospitals in Davis County.
Send your artwork submissions to email@example.com. You can submit digital art or a photo of physical art. Submissions must be an image, no video. Multiple submissions are welcome and encouraged.
This artwork from the community will be displayed throughout Davis and Intermountain Layton Hospitals. This is a great at-home project for your family to express their creativity and their appreciation for Davis County healthcare workers. Your family will enjoy this fun activity and your messages and artwork will go a long way to those who see them in Davis County hospitals.
You can learn more about the Davis Arts Council and this project on their Facebook page.

Drive-Thru Baby Animal Festival
Cross E Ranch in North Salt Lake has an abundance of baby farm animals and they have created a way for you to still see these animals this spring while remaining safe and healthy. They have baby goats, bunnies, chicks, ducklings, calves, piglets, lambs, and more! Once you get to Cross E Ranch, you can slowly drive throughout the ranch and view all of the baby and adult animals they have outside. They also have an audio tour so your family can learn about each of the animals you see. The Drive-Thru Baby Animal Exhibit is the perfect family activity to get out of the house, learn about farms, and see the cutest baby animals!
Tickets are $12.95 per vehicle and must be purchased in advance. Purchase tickets here. Once you arrive, you will show the attendant your confirmation email on your phone, through the glass of your window so you don’t have to risk exposure to those outside of your household. They will then give you a link to listen to their audio tour on your cell phone and you are good to go! The Drive-Thru Baby Animal Festival runs through May 2nd.
This weekend, they will also have an “I-Spy Easter Egg Hunt” where your family can “hunt” for hidden Easter eggs throughout the drive.

Dartside and the Davis Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to create an exciting Easter egg hunt that will take you and your family across the whole County, looking for Easter eggs.
They have placed one giant Easter egg sticker at 100 different places and businesses throughout Davis County. Load the family up in the car and go find and take a picture of as many eggs as you can. Just remember to keep your social distance, stay in your car, and tag #utahrideandhunt to spread the word!
All eggs will be in plain sight and easy to find. There are no prizes for finding all of the Easter eggs- this is just a fun activity for your family to enjoy! You can see a complete list of egg locations on the Utah Easter Ride and Hunt Facebook event page (scroll down to “recent posts”). You might even see one at the Davis County Administration building!
