6. Haunted Fielding Garr Ranch

People often say they felt like they were being watched or sometimes even scratched by something unseen. Doors opening on their own, brief visions of apparitions…the usual haunting stuff. Come see for yourself if you also feel a source of dark energy. And, if you’re brave, spend the night on the island. Antelope Island State Park is an international dark sky park after all and those dark skies will hopefully give you some good scares. Read more about the paranormal energy at Antelope Island’s 173-year-old ranch house here.

7. Try a Spooky Escape Room at Great Room Escape

If you’re looking for some scare but you don’t want to cry, try their Ghost Hotel escape room for a lighter escape mission.  If you do want to scare yourself to tears, try The Cabin instead – see below.  For most of their escape rooms, you can have a team of 8 max, and a minimum of 4.

The Cabin Escape Room

It’s scary.  Like, really scary.  It’s also the most difficult escape room at this location!

8. RAID Zombie Laser Tag at The Colosseum

What happens when you put some zombies in laser tag?  You get a wildly fun, adrenaline-fueled mission that is just a good time.  And we’re not talking about simulated zombies on a wall, we mean…well, you’ll see.  We don’t want to spoil all the fun.  Maybe leave the younger kids at home, but take your older kids (their video game skills might actually come in handy here) or your group of friends and enjoy this unique experience.  Be prepared for some fright, some thrills, and even some exercise that you’ll be talking about for months.

9. Do Some Halloween Art with the Family

Family Art Night at the BDAC: Skeleton Sprites

Come join this fun, free family art night to create some fun Halloween skeletons.  There will be materials provided to create your own skeleton fairy, whether it’s spooky or cute.  This project is suited to artists of all ages.
